The Six of Wands

Three of Wands_edited.jpg

Victory - an achievement or success in a struggle or endeavor.

This young man sits high upon his steed. He is wearing a wreath around his head, but also is holding up a second wreath on his wand. Five wands are displayed in the background.

It's victory day around here! The young man depicted on the card shows a rider who has won a contest over his opponents and is holding up a second wreath that shows he has bested them.

However, sixes can represent harmony and inner peace. Being the week of Thanksgiving, this card coming up now is an indication that it is a good time to reconize our accomplishments, both small or large. And be grateful.

Normally when drawing the Six of Wands there is an indication that outward approval is at hand. A promotion maybe? Or just a friend telling you how important you are in their life.

Of course, we cannot always depend on others to commend us. You can just as easy pat yourself on the back.

But as much as this card signals victory or accomplishment, the wreath at the top of the wand tells us to not forget the defeated. Don’t be too full of yourself but show respect and empathy for the other. In all ways it is good to practice fair play and not hold it over others.

In a nutshell: Expect a victory this week to unfold. Be grateful for that win. And show respect and empathy for others.

Happy Thanksgiving!!
