Tarot Wisdom

As I was driving down the street, I glanced over at a building on the left and saw this mural. The mural was / is whimsical, playful and full of life. I had to stop and take a photo.

A woman running seemingly leaving a trail of bubbles behind. Kids of course, behind her, are jumping up and down trying to catch the bubbles. As you learn and study Tarot, you learn that there is a theme playing out in many of the interpretations. Using your intuition is the most prevalent theme. But how do we use our intuition. One of the ways is to pay more attention.

So as I pass this mural and force myself to pull over and really take a look at it, I realize how beautiful it is. Someone spent serious time dreaming the vision up and then painting it on the side of this building. The next thing I thought of was the Six of Cups.

The Six of Cups is a beautiful card that reminds us to stay in the present moment. The two children on the card are playing/working together in harmony. All of their focus is on arranging flowers into the six cups before them. The card is reminding us that our inner child needs expression and also to look back and remember a time when the world was not resting so heavily on our shoulders.

One does not always have to pull a card each morning to be inspired by Tarot. The cards can manifest themselves all around us. I encourage you to (when you see something that inspires you) pull a card. The card and your inspiration will link. These are the powerful ways in which Tarot can have an impact on our lives.
