the three of cups

Threes represent creativity, results, achievement.

“Today is a day of celebration. So, celebrate! Our days can sometimes be uninteresting.

It is up to us to spice up our journey.”

Cups are associated with the element of WATER. The suit of Cups is how we relate to the world, looking through the lens of our own perception.

The card shows three women with cups in their hands, standing in a field of flowers. The women have party dresses on and are wearing wreathes in their hair. There is laurel (or bay leaves) climbing up the side of the card and underneath the flowers.

The women are in a festive mood which suggests they have gathered together to celebrate. Since there are three women, this would suggest a close circle of friends. Standing in the flowers and the bay leaves indicates breathing in the flavors of life and sharing this with others. The laurel or bay leaves also represent peace. This is the setting in which they have come together to celebrate friendship and accomplishments.

This is a joyful card, and it invites you to take a part in your community. Take a moment to think about how you relate to the different people in your life. Comfortable with some, others not so much? Are you a wall flower or the center of attention? Attempting to relate to the people in your life will make your experience here on earth a better one.

Today is a day of celebration. So, celebrate! Our days can sometimes be uninteresting. It is up to us to spice up our journey.
